Mangalore, July 26: Akhila Bharathiya Vidyarthi Parishat, Mangalore unit has organised 14th Kargil winning celebration at Kadri Hills War Memorial Hall on Friday.
ABVP Mangalore city unit and KPT college unit commemorated the Kargil heroes and paid the floral tribute to the soldiers’ memorial on the occasion.
The Chief Guest retire Indian Navy Commander G P Mascarehnas described the life and sacrifices of soldiers.
Afterwards, at 1.30 noons near Ambedkar Circle, college students were gathered and respected the photo of Bharath matha and paid floral tribute to martious soldiers.
ABVP State Secretary Ramesh K, City organising coordinator Mahipal B. K, City Secretary Yathish Kumar and others were present.
