Cricket, Volleyball and Throw ball matches were held on the occasion of centenary of St. Ignatius aided Higher primary school on 6th December 2015 at Paladka Church grounds. Fr. Ivan Michael Rodrigues, Parish Priest presided over the Inaugural function, Andrew D’souza, Maruthi Bhat, Denis D’Mello,Vincent Pinto and Sr. Josina were present as guests.
The programme began with a prayer song by Shwetha and Anisha. Fr. Ivan Michael Rodrigues along with guests inaugurated the tournament by lighting the lamp. Jagadeesh Kallottu, the convener of sports committee welcomed the guests and gathering. Maxim Lobo, the secretary of sports committee proposed vote of thanks. Avil D’Souza compered the programme.
16 cricket teams, 14 Volley ball teams and 6 Throw ball teams participated in the tournament. Mr. Clement D’Souza and Mr. Nagesh, the Physical education teachers were the referees for the tournament.
