Udupi: Manipal rape prime accused Yogish who was earlier discharged from KMC Hospital & arrested by Police was produced before Nagajyoti K A The Principal Civil Judge (senior division) and Chief Judicial Magistrate & she remanded Yogesh Poojary the prime accused in the Manipal gang rape case to judicial custody till July 15.
As per court order he was earlier taken for DNA test to Govt Hospital Udupi and he was sent to Shimoga jail as per the appeal of police. The officials did not demanded for police custody considering his health condition.
He was produced before Principal Civil Judge (senior division) and Chief Judicial Magistrate Nagajyoti K A at her residence.
The government hospital doctor Amaranth, conducted the general check-up of the accused certified that his health condition is normal. Police source said that the Yogesh was interrogated after his discharge at around 7.45 am.
