Rape victim could be discharged within three days
Udupi, June 29: K C Rosa Kutti, the Kerala state Women Commission chairperson said that as per the doctors the rape victim could be discharged within three days from the hospital.
Members Dr Tulasi and Rubina Rasheed (Advocate) accompanied her.
Speaking to the media person she said that she is here to get the update over the incidents that took place since past one week. A report will be submitted to Kerala CM.She has spoken to the police personnel regarding their efforts in nabbing the culprits.
She also said she will meet the IGP (western range) Prathap Reddy regarding the case. She will also speak to the victim’s father over phone.
However the victim and her family remain reluctant to meet anyone. She said the university has beefed up the security measures and alsopatrolling within the campus. “We are going to give some suggestions to the university over the security aspects in the interest of thestudents studying over here”, she added.
