Mangaluru, July 21: The Silver Jubilee celebration of UAE Tulu Koota Dubai is scheduled on October 9th, Friday at Al Nasar Lisure Land Ice Rink Indoor Stadium in Dubai. About three thousand Tulu, Konkani, Beary speaking people of Tulunadu, residing at UAE will participate in the event , informed UAE Tulu Koota Dubai co-ordinator Daya Kirodiyan.
Speaking at a press meet held in the city on Tuesday, July 21st he said, in the Tulu parba, plays, Yakshagana, sport events, social service and other cultural events organized in the past by the UAE Tulu Koota Dubai, various dignitaries, veteran writers, mentors from native who had participated in all these events have expressed their appreciation, he said.
Dr D Veerendra Heggade will inaugurate the silver jubilee event. Dr B R Shetty, president of Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy M Janaki Bramhavara, and other dignitaries will arrive as the guests. In the event, Devdas Kapikad, Naveen D Padil, Bhojraj Vamanjoor, Aravind Bolar, will present the cultural programmes, he informed.
