Mangaluru : The Customs officers at Mangaluru International Airport seized Foreign Currency to the value of 18250 Saudi Arabian Riyals, 1075 UAE Dirhams, 860 Kuwait Dinars, 3650 Qatar Riyals, 735 Omani Riyal, 55 Bahrain Dinars  and 500 U.S. Dollars in various denominations, equivalent to Rs.7,54,411/- (Rupees Seven Lakhs Fifty Four Thousand Four Hundred Eleven only), from the passenger Shri. Abdul Kader Perumbala hailing from Perumbala, Kasaragod, Kerala during his departure from Mangaluru International Airport in the evening of 21.06.2015 by Air India Express flight No.IX 813 to Dubai. The said passenger attempted to smuggle the SAID Foreign Currency out of India without valid money exchange documents and by concealment in his checked-in baggage..

Further investigation is under progress.
