Mangaluru, June 17: Recently, a complaint was filed at Women’s police station in Pandeshwar here by a woman passenger alleging harassment by taxi drivers at Mangaluru International Airport for hiring an Ola cab.
The above case which was initially filed at the women’s police station at Pandeshwar has been transferred to Bajpe police station now.
The incident had taken place at the area which falls under the Bajpe police station jurisdiction. Hence, the case has been transferred there and investigation has already begun, said the police sources.
Police have visited the airport for investigation. They have also summoned some people to visit the station for enquiry, it is learnt.
Police sources also said, the CCTV footages have been examined and some of the people who were involved in this incident have been identified.
