‘Open house’ programme held in Mangalore University to guide students.

Mangaluru, June 13: It is laudable that the ‘Open house’ programme has been organized at the Mangalore University to guide the students and their parents to choose the appropriate PG courses, said Health and Family Welfare Minister UT Kahder.

He addressed the audience after inaugurating the two day long Open House programme, a special programme organized for the benefit of the students at the Mangalore University here on Friday, June 12th. In view of enhancing the self confidence of the students and for their development, it is not sufficient if the rules and regulations are framed sitting in the assembly, parliament, and in the offices.  Approaching the students directly and delivering information is really good program, he said and wished that the Mangalore University rise to the grade of  Number One University in future.

Through this programme, the students who wish to take up courses at the University will get a correct guidance to opt the courses. In foreign countries this methodology is employed to guide the students, informed the Chancellor Professor K Byrappa.

Registrar P S Yadapaditthaya welcomed the gathering. Professor K R Chandrashekar thanked.
