Mangalore, June 18: It has been reported in the city that a major accident was occurred on June 18, Tuesday near MCF at Paramour, wherein a PCR vehicle rammed into a truck.
Sources said that the PCR van, belonging to Mulky police station was coming from Bajpe airport from the wrong side of the four –lanes highway, resulted in an accident. Due to the impact of the accident PCR van has completely mangled.
Sources also said that in order to avoid an accident, truck driver tried his maximum by diverting away his truck from the four lanes highway and in the process, he lost the control of his vehicle and truck fell into the Pit and got stuck in the slush eventually.
The constable named Mohan who was driving the PCR has been seriously injured and is admitted to A.J Hospital, Mangalore.The truck driver has also sustained injuries.
Police arrived to the spot and a case has been registered in Panambur police station.
