Mangaluru, June 1: Schools across the city reopened on Monday June 1st after the summer vacations.
School students were seen rushing back to their schools after a long break. Students were seen enthusiastically travelling in school vehicles, auto rickshaws, vehicles of parents, etc, and schools were observed with activity on Monday, June 1st.
Some were seen walking to their schools with parents and friends. Many students were found to be enthusiastic, while some were not in a mood to go to school.
Beginners will be introduced to education today, while old ones will be eager to meet their friends after a long holiday. Students will be excited to meet their new class teachers and also to meet their new class mates.
From this year onwards security in schools will be enhanced as the government has ordered all the schools to install CCTV cameras and maintain good security for the students.
As the rains have not yet begun, most of the students will be eager to know about their PT hours.
The staff engaged in cooking of hot lunch programme will get busy from today again and children will be waiting to have their yummy “Bisi Oota” in the afternoon.
