Mangalore, June 15: U T Khader, State minister for health and family welfare has been honored and felicitated by city’s lawyers association at the choultry of court of law, Mangalore on June 15,Saturday.
After receiving the honor Khader said in his address that health department is required by each and every individual starting from small children to adults.
Now the opportunity has come to me to serve the people in a better manner by becoming the health minister. Therefore I must utilize that opportunity by serving the people with self-respect and promised that he will strive to work hard to fulfill the wishes of people of the state sincerely and with dedication, he said.
Seethram Shetty, a senior and former president of association has felicitated U T Khader.
A memorandum has been submitted by the association of lawyers urging the minister to request the government to increase the stipend amount of junior lawyers, Provision of fund for opening of library in newly built Judges Bhavan and among other demands.Khader promised that he will examine the facts.
