Mangaluru, May 4: Tempo in which a marriage party was travelling had turned turtle near Padavinangady here on Sunday night, May 3rd injuring many.
As many as eighteen people were travelling in the tempo including men, women and children. While the marriage party was travelling to the bride’s house at Shaktinagar, this accident took place.
Bride groom along with some other family members travelled in a car, while the relatives board the tempo which was following the car. Near a turn at Padavinangady, the tempo turned turtle after it collided to the rear end of the car.
The car was damaged, but all its occupants were safe. The bride groom and other people rushed the injured people to different hospitals.
A case has been registered by Mangaluru rural police.
