Mangaluru, April 13: Well educated brothers who had consumed alcohol went on a rampage on the night of Saturday in the city.
The arrested are Dr Sreejit (30) and his brother Kamal Deep (24) basically from Thrissur.
Dr Sreejit works for a city based hospital while his brother works as flight engineer in Delhi.
The duo while travelling in car on Saturday night at Derebail Konchady, saw a huge crowd gathered for an anniversary of a youth association.
The duo abused the public on the road and tried to attack two men among the crowd. The people who caught the brothers, handed them to Kavoor cops.
The brothers acted violently even at Kavoor police station.
The cops, took them to Wenlock hospital for medical tests to prove the brothers were drunk. In the hospital, while they were being asked to take the tests, the duo also attacked on Radhakrishna a police constable from Pandeshwar police station.
Separate complaints against the duo brothers are registered at Kavoor and Pandeshwar police stations.
Today they will be produced in the court.
