Mangalore, June 09: Ramanatha Rai, minister for forest, ecology and environment, while congratulating Karnataka people for defeating fascist communal party BJP and some responsibilities have been assigned to MLAs and minister to protect secularism in the state, in the function arranged at St Aloysius college auditorium on June 9, Sunday.
In the beginning of the programme K L Ashok, secretary presented the list of
Rai, further said in his address that Kalladka is the centre point for communal Sangha (Matheeya) and there is factory of bundle of lies and lots of stories are being spread. Many a times people have become sacrifice goats of all these fabricated stories and harmony is being ignored.
He further alleged that these anti-harmony forces are leveling false allegation against those who try to bring harmony amongst the people. Therefore he opposes such attitude of communalism in the state. He owed to defeat that stand of disharmony and advised the people to be away from Modi’s administration and don’t try to divide the state in the name of fascism, he added.
He also said that people from all the community voted me to win with huge margin regardless of their caste, religion, language and added that he would like to dedicate this victory to the people who have supported to win him in the recently concluded assembly elections. Gujarat model means Hitler model and oppose saffronisation and moral policing in the state, he opined.
Thereafter MLA JR Lobo in his speech said that in this place RSS activities are being conducted. When people work in the intention of harmony, national security, social responsibilities and likeminded people when unite together, such evil forces which disturb the harmony amongst the people can be driven out, he added.
He further said that people have done their first duty by electing us and secondly they have arranged this programe for identifying their duties/responsibilities and all the past problems and steps taken for solving the same, has been kept in front of us and he assured the people that they will raise their voices and fight against those forces and sought the co-operation from the public in this regard, he informed.
