Mangaluru, April 4: Flights were delayed which arrive from the Gulf nations to Mangaluru city. The delay was caused due to the heavy sandstorm witnessed over the past few days in the Gulf region.
Jet Airways which arrived from Dubai was delayed by about two hours on Friday April 3rd. It was expected to land at Mangaluru at 8 am, but it arrived at 10 am.
Similarly, Air India Express flight which was expected to land at 7.30 am, landed at 10.30 am.
Air India Express flight from Dammam landed after delay of two hours at 9.50 am.
The same delay was experienced on Thursday April 2nd as well, with both Air India Express and Jet Airways flights getting delayed by about two hours.
It is said that those returning home for Easter suffered inconveniences due to delay.
