Mangaluru, March 10: President of Agri-Gold Customers and Agent welfare Association Narayana Shetty has alleged in a press meet held on Monday, that the Andra Pradesh – Vijayawada based firm, Agri-Gold Farm Estate India Firm has cheated over thirty thousand customers of Karavali( Coastal area).
The customers had relied on Agri-Gold firm and had invested funds in it. Fraud of about 300 crores of rupees had been taken place in the coastal area. Out of the money collected from its customers, the firm has purchased about 12 acres of converted land in Talapady Village and 44.49 acres of agricultural land in Kinya. But, recently the land in Talapady has been sold off. The concerned district authorities have to take appropriate initiatives in this regard, urged Narayana Shetty.
Office bearers of the committee Narayana Nayki, Chandrashekara Sanil, Raghavendra kumble, Rajanna were present during the press meet.
