Mangalore, June 2: It has been reported in the city that MLA J R Lobo has visited many places like Pump well, Ujjodi, Morgan gate, Mangaladevi and other places to review the situation over there, which happened due to artificial flooding in the places.
While speaking to media, Lobo said that artificial flooding in many places has created due to the gross negligence of builders by dumping the wastages or by not cleaning the area of construction in the vicinity. He has urged the MCC officials to clear the mess created by these people without any hesitation or fear at the earliest possible.
He also urged the tahsildar and engineers and other concerned officials to be more pro-active as far as Disaster management is concerned.
Leaders like T K Sudhir, Dennis D’silva, Corporator Praveenchandra Alva, Asha Gretta D’Silva, Rathikala, Alwyn D’silva, K Rithin Kumar, Naveen Lobo, Melwyn and others were present.
