Mangaluru, March 3: In an information which has been received after some delay, a Russian citizen who was attacked by stroke while on board in an Air India flight mid air, was saved by the timely action and alertness of the Pilot.
The alert pilot of Air India flight which was on its way to Mumbai from Thiruvananthapuram made an emergency landing at the Mangaluru International airport here on February 24th, as a Russian passenger named Artur Izotov (47), developed complications. He was immediately rushed to the hospital from the airport where a doctor and an ambulance were kept ready.
It is said, the flight made an emergency landing here at 2.02pm and had left the airport within half an hour to its destination.
It is gathered that Artur Izotov recovered in hospital and was fit the next day. After being discharged from the hospital, he left to Goa for a tour by Matsyagandha Express.
