Petrol, diesel dearer; auto LPG cheaper in Mangalore, Udupi

MANGALORE: Petrol or motor spirit sold at Indian Oil Corporation outlets in Mangalore and Udupi have become dearer by 98 paise per litre from 12am on June 1.

A litre of petrol in Mangalore now costs Rs 69.26 (Rs 68.26 earlier) and in Udupi Rs 69.41 (Rs 68.43). Likewise, diesel is costlier by 61 paise per litre and is priced at Rs 54.22 (Rs 53.61) in Mangalore and Rs 54.37 (Rs 53.76) in Udupi. Price of auto LPG however has dipped by Rs 2.17 and is now priced at Rs 39.83/litre in both Mangalore and Udupi and (Rs 42 earlier).
