Rahim Ucchil speaking on this occasion said, lately it has come to light that the hospital has been selling the dead bodies to private medical colleges to gain more cash. In some cases, the family of the deceased are not informed when this step is taken, he alleged.

Rahim Ucchil further speaking said, when the issue was raised, the hospital has always said that Court has permitted to sell bodies for study purpose. But when they are asked to show the order copy, they fail to produce it, he added.

In the protest, other members of the vedike were present including Haneef from Human Rights Forum.
