Long awaited Byndoor-Kasargod train service to be flagged-off on Feb 9th.

Kundapur, February 9: Long awaited Byndoor-Kasargod train service, will begin service for the commuters from Monday February 9th.

The train service will be flagged-off by Union railway minister Suresh Prabhu from New Delhi at 6 pm.

This train passes through Udupi, Dakshina Kannada and Kasargod. This is the only train service announced in the past budget for the state.

The train service for passengers will be available from Tuesday, February 10th.

Train timings are as follows:

Kasargod- 6.40 am
Byndoor- 11.50 am

Byndoor- 1.05 pm
Kasargod- 6.10 pm

The stops are: Bijoor, Senapura, Kundapur, Barkur, Udupi, Innanje, Padubidri, Nandikur, Mulki, Suratkal, Thokkur, Mangaluru Junction, Thokkottu, Ullal, Manjeshwar, Uppala and Kumble.

MPs B S Yeddyurappa, Shobha Karandlaje, Oscar Fernandes, legislators Gopala Poojary, Halady Srinivasa Shetty, Kota Srinivasa Poojary, Pratapchandra Shetty and Captain Ganesh Karnik are expected to attend the local flag off at Byndoor which will take place at the same time.
