Mangaluru, February 6: The Anganwadi workers across the state are protesting against the privatization of ICDS project.
The anganwadi workers in the district have also staged a protest by closing all the centers.
They have staged indefinite stir in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office, which has stepped into 5th day now. The anganwadi workers are protesting under the banner of CITU.
So far, none of the authorities have turned at them. The Anganwadi workers are expressing their outrage against the authorities who have failed to visit the place.
They have warned that if their demands are not met, they would continue to fight until February 14th.
