Mangalore, May 28: Muhammad Arif Padubidri, correspondent of Vijaya Karnataka has been selected for the prestigious “Pa Go” award by the Kannada district working journalists association.
Sources said this prestigious award would be awarded to him for his report “Napkin Ghatakada Yashogathe” and which was published in Vijaya Karnataka on June 12,2012.
Arif will be presented with the award on June 1st at 10.45 am at “Patrika Bhavan” hall in Mangalore by the well known senior journalist Chidambar Baikampady.
The award comprises of certificate, memento and will also receive a cash prize of Rs 5001/- sponsored by Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr.Veerendra Heggade as informed by Srinivas Nayak,General secretary of the association.
