Mangaluru, February 2: The anniversary of Gorkananatha College alumni association will be held on February 13th. The sports meet organized as part of the event, was inaugurated on Sunday 01-02-2015, by Mr Purushothama Poojary, Physical Director (PD) of Gokarnanatha College.
Speaking on this occasion, he said; by taking part in sports activities we can improve our health. In addition, we will be able to bring out new talents, said Purushothama Poojary.
If the organizations are into social works, it helps the society to move forward towards development. In this path, the alumni association of our College is doing great work for betterment of the society, expressed Purushothama Poojary lauding the alumni association.
The alumni association of the College has always been the backbone of the College to which the college always extends its support, said Poojary.
The lecturer’s of the College, Professor Renuka, and Yathish Amin were the guests.
Naveen Chandra B, President of Alumni association, Vice-Presidents- Sunil Dutt Pai, Nandagopal Shenoy, Dhananjay Nayak M -Treasurer, members such as Sandeep, Dinesh, Avinash, Prasanna, Sanjay, Chiranjeevi, Gurudath Kamath, Naeem Baji, Varad Raj, Rajesh, Ashok, Divya, Prashant, Vijay Puthran and others were present during the event.
Dinesh Kalladka welcomed the gathering. Vote of thanks was proposed by Jayashree- General Secretary of the Association.
