Speaking to the reporters here on Monday, January 26th, he informed that the state budget session will commence from February 2nd and said, the citizens say that the state’s economic condition is poor.

De-notify: Need to amend the rules.

Beginning from C M Krishna’s time, during all the CM’s rule and governor’s rule, the acquired land ins denotified. There is no specific order which states what kind land has to be de-notified. Hence the rule needs an amendment, said Yedurappa.

Discussion about the pros and cons of the final orders passed on land acquisition act will be held in the next parliamentary session. In this, dry land acquisition is permitted and the farmers may be benefitted by this. The government is committed to protect the interests of farmers, said the Minister Yedurappa.
