Mangalore, May 25: Proposed move of the state government to bring Sri Krishna temple in to the ambit of its Muzrai department has been opposed by Janardhan Poojary, former union minister.
Poojary said prior to bringing another temple within the purview of Muzrai department, the condition of the existing temples should be improved and no doubt “administration of Krishna temple in Udupi is well managed.
He further asserted that whether there is a stay by the court or not, people of coastal region will not allow Krishna temple to be brought under the Muzrai department, Poojary said.
