Kasargod, January 9: Two men expired in a scooter and a mini bus accident that occurred on Thursday, January 8th at Adooru Galimukha, border area between Kerala and Karnataka.
The deceased are identified as Abdul Rehman(55) and his son Siddiq (22) from Adukkam Kadama.
Head on collision occurred between the Scooter and minibus at around 7am. The accident has occurred when the bus was returning from Shabarimale to Puttur.
Siddiq died on the spot, where as Abdul Rehman expired on the way to Kasargod private hospital.
Abdul Rehman was the secretary of the local unit of CPM. Siddiq was employed in a shop in Ernakulam and was busy with preparations to leave for Dubai on Saturday, January 10th for employment.
The dead bodies were taken for autopsy at Kasargod general hospital.
A case has been registered by Adooru cops.
