Rs 40 lakhs in total sanctioned for 26 Schools in Mangaluru- Moiddin Bava.

Mangaluru, January 09: Mangaluru North MLA BA Moiddin Bava addressed a press meet in his office on Thursday, January 8th, and informed that total amount of Rs 40 lakhs have been sanctioned for 26 schools falling under the Mangaluru North constituency.

Bava also revealed that Rs 1.87 crore is granted for the infrastructure development of Kavoor First Grade College building with a view to attract more students towards the college.

He also revealed that Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Limited (KIOCL) has agreed to reconstruct a new building for the Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat Higher Primary School at Thannirbhavi which costs Rs 25 lakh since current building is in a ruined state.

Bava said the Mangaluru International Airport would be up-graded soon and also said that the procedures would be completed soon.

Conversing about the recent murder of Keshav Shetty, a garage owner and BJP member which took place at Soorinje near Kinnigoli, on Tuesday, January 6th; Bava said that it was an act of revenge and clarified that it is not connected to the ganja mafia.
