Kasargod, January 2: The cops of narcotic cell have nabbed a drug peddler identified as Riaz (32) from Periyatadka.
He had escaped during the raid operation at Kumble which was conducted some time ago. The drug peddler’s gang had escaped with four kilograms of ganja about a month back after abandoning their Tata Sumo vehicle.
Riaz is accused in cases related to vehicle theft, murder and robbery. He had also escaped from Kannur central jail, but was arrested later on.
