Mangaluru, December 17: HS Varadarajan, District Chief Fire Officer lauded the home guards who work with the sole intention of serving the society, at the Home Guard’s day celebration organized at Mary Hill on Tuesday, December 16th.
Vijay Kumar, the retired commandant of Mangalore city and H Narayana who was awarded with the “Chief Ministers Gold Medal” for his best service was felicitated on this occasion.
The yearly report was read by Jayaraj.
Deputy Commandant Purushotham, and Mohammad Ismail, Usha, Devika Rai-Corporation Bank, Jayanth Shetty and others were present on this occasion.
