“Child Line Se Dosthi” National campaign organised to help children.

Mangaluru, November 17: “Child Line Se Dosthi” – a week (November 14th – 20th) long national level campaign is organised to safeguard the children in misery and provide timely assistance.

The program was formally inaugurated by tying a wrist band which posed a message ‘Child Line Se Dosthi” to Assistant commissioner of Police (ACP), Crime Records Bureau, Subramanya by the pupils of Abhaysi Government School on Monday, November 17th.

Post this, the children tied bands to the other officers too. The children were educated about the children rights, police system, method of functioning, and assistance offered by the department.

Child Line Se Dosthi is a government project and aims at uniting the public and beneficiaries to join hands with Child Line -1098. It will operate 24/7 and provides free and emergency service to children.

The Child-line functions under the joint collaboration of the Central women’s and children’s development board, state and children’s development board, the government and non government organisations, local administration, Educational institutions supporting systems organisations, School of social work Roshni Nilaya Nodal organisation.

This campaign is organizing many programs and activities all over the country. Any activist of Child Se Dosthi should be educated on the child help-line and have to come forward to provide security to the children.

The key intention of the program is to educate the children about the Child Help Line. If one is interested to work for the child help line, he /she has to observe the happenings in the surroundings and inform the child help line when they are in need.
