Union Government has gone against the interests of working class: K.R. Sriyan CPI (M) leader

Mangaluru, November 10: K.R. Sriyan, State Secretariat Member of the CPI (M) inaugurated the conference of the CPI (M) in Mangaluru city on November 10th, Monday.

Sriyan, speaking on the occasion, alleged that Union Government has gone against the interests of the working class.

He said that the BJP government was following the footsteps of the previous government. Sriyan also pointed case where the present government was following the policy initiated by the Congress government, to ban the subsidy on domestic cylinders, which was opposed by the BJP the then opposition party.

Speaking about the cutback in diesel and petrol prices, he said this would persist only for a short span and added the prices will hike immediately as the fuel costs hike globally.

District Secretary of CITU, Vasanth Achary, Secretary of the city unit of CPI (M), Sunil Kumar Bajal,  Muneer Katipalla, State Secretary of DYFI and others were present.
