Kundapur , November 6: The government which has paid Rs 10 lakh compensation for the death of cattle thefter Kabir ought to pay Rs 10 lakh as compensation for the death of student Nanditha and also the case has to be handed over to the CBI said that the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, District president Baikadi Suprasad Shetty.
He spoke in the protest meeting organised by Viswa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal of Koteshwar unit on Wednesday evening November 5th near Koteshwar fish market condemning the rape and murder case of the high school girl Nandita.
It is pitiable that the society is not expressing rage against the Nandita murder and rape case. None of the community is raising their voice to provide justice to Nandita Poojary, and punish the accused instead they are appealing to the police to protect their Shrines and Homes. He expresses his rage by stating that if one thinks only of his security with the feeling of caste and religion, such individual has no right to live in this land.
He said, Home Minister has not visited Tirthahalli till date. The question of “Whether there is state government? “has struck everyone. From the past 6 months, women are being harassed in the state and the government as well as the police department has not taken action taken on the culprits. He alleged that the government is biasing one community and the Hindus are discriminated.
The Police department should be given complete freedom in this case he said.
