Mangalore, October 18: Opposing the inhumane act of the Kavoor sub inspector Umesh Kumar and the two other personnel’s who badly assaulted a Bhajranga dhal activist Charan residing at Moodushedde in Vamanjoor without any reason; the Bhajranga protestors continued their protest even on Saturday, October 18th. The protestors are found opposing on the road since they were refrained from seiging the Police station.

It is learnt that, Charan was badly assaulted and also warned by the cops.

Charan has suffered grave injuries due to the assault by the Cops and has been admitted to a private hospital in the city. A week ago, the Bhajrangadhal association had staged a protest and submitted a requisition to the Police commissioner demanding to take appropriate legal actions on the Kavoor station sub-inspector and two personnel’s who were involved in this assault. As their grievances are unattended, the activists of the association attempted to lay a siege to the Kavoor Police Station. Since additional police force was allocated at the venue to resist the activists, the protest was continued even on Saturday, October 18th demanding justice.
