Padubidri, October 17: A boozed truck driver rammed to a car followed by a feeder, injuring four members at Hejamadi on Thursday, October 16th during sunset.
The cops have taken the drunken truck driver into custody. During investigation he had said, he was the cleaner and not the driver.
This truck which was carrying goods was plying from Andhra Pradesh to Mangalore was passing through Udupi. The driver, after losing control over the truck crashed to a feeder in the beginning at the National Highway near a Dhaba. Later collided onto a tourist Indica car and dragged the car forward for about 25meters and halted at the centre of the road after its axel got cut.
The front portion of the car is badly mangled and the truck is also jammed. Four members are injured in to this accident.
A case has been registered at Padubidri police station.
