Kulala Sangha ; 10th Annual Get-together of  local committee held in Navi Mumbai.

 Mumbai : The 10th Annual Get-together of Navi Mumbai local committee of Kulala Sangha, Mumbai held on 12th October, 2014 at Agri Koli Samskruti Bhavan, Nerul, Navi Mumbai.

Girish B. Salian president of the Sangha presided the function. The full day event was inaugurated by P. K. Salian Hon. President of the Sangha along with other office bearers and guests.

Wellknown industrialist K. D. Shetty who was the guest of honor congratulated the local committee for completing successful 10 year and appreciated the achievements of Kulala Sangha, Mumbai. He expressed his best wishes for the Kulala Bhavana project in Mangalore.

Ramesh Poojary of Shaneeshwara Temple, Nerul said in Navi Mumbai  Kulala community  members  are not only supporting their own community but same way they work for other communities also.  Kulala community always respect their culture wherever they are.

President of Tulu Koota Airoli Jagdeish Shetty, President of Rangha Bhoomi Fine Arts Navi Mumbai V K Suvarna also present as Guests of Honor appreciated the achievements of Kulala Sangha.

Anni C. Shetty of Shree Mukhambhika Temple Ghansoli who was present as Guest of honor said we have to give good education to our children which is better for both the parents and children.  We too have to love and respect our janmabhoomi and even karmabhoomi.

In his presidential address Girish B. Salian said ‘I am happy to see that today we have with us prominent personalities from all other communities also.  A community can grow up with Education, Finance and Power of Uniting people. For Kulala Bhavan in addition to the support of our community people we have the support of other community also. With your love and support we have proceeded with this project and within 2 years our Kulala Bhavan in Mangalore will be completed.’

Fund Raising committee Chairman, Journalist B. Dinesh Kulal explained about the development of Kulal Bhavan project which is coming up near Mangaladevi temple in Mangalore. Hon. President  P. K. Salian also spoke and appealed the members to take this project on fast track.

Senior members of the Sangha Padebettu Shekhar Moolya and Prabhakara Vasu Bangera couple felicitated during the occasion.

Vice President Devadas L Kulal presented a brief report of the Sangha.  Students scored highest marks in various examinations awarded.

Vice President of Jyoti Co-op Credit Society Devadas L Kulal, Jt. Editor of Amoolya, Shankar Y. Moolya, Chairperson of  Ladies wing  Sumati S. Banjan, Hon. Gen. Secretary D. I. Moolya,  Treasurer Jaya Anchan, Chairman of Building committee K Gopal Bangera in their speech congratulated the local committee.

Local committee Chairman Raghu P Moolya welcomed the guests.

Kulal, Prema L. Moolya, Malati  Anchan,  Shashikala Moolya and other Office bearers of Local committee and submitee also present on dais.

Various dances (Kalagonchila) and cultural programmes held by the children. A play ‘Oyikla Bhagya Boodu’ written and directed by Shashikumar Kulal staged.
