Mangalore, October 7: A massive protest was organised by the Workers of MCF in front of the DC office in Mangalore on Tuesday October 7th against the shutdown of the company which provided bread for thousands of people.
This protest was organised by Mangala workers Union of MCF.
The workers said that, the company was shut due to government’s inefficiency to provide raw materials and acquire agriculture lands for pipe lines. If MCF is closed, farmers will suffer.
More than 5000 people were employed in MCF. The protestors demanded to, withdraw the decision of shutting down the firm and said it is the matter of their life and government must intervene in this issue.
In this protest, all the office bearers and members of the union were present.
