Udupi, October 07: The Padubidri cops have arrested a conductor of a private transport carriage on October 6th, for allegedly misbehaving with a minor girl who boarded the bus.
The accused conductor is identified as Rajesh Shetty (37), a resident of Mailottu in Mulki.
It is learnt, Rajesh who worked for the Salian bus, reportedly behaved indecently with the girl who travelled by the bus since few days. Sources said on October 5th, Sunday, he once again misbehaved with her after making her to sit in the rear seat of the bus.
Moreover, the conductor reportedly threatened the girl on Monday October 6th.
Based on a plaint lodged by the girl, the accused conductor was taken under custody by the cops and investigations are on.
