Bantwal, October 4: A Ford Figo which was moving towards Mangalore lost its control and collided into the barricade placed on the road post which the driver hit three parked vehicles and knocked a pedestrian and at Maripalla during the wee hours on Saturday October 4th.
It is learnt that, Abdul Lateef (28) a pedestrian who is a resident of Farangipet, has suffered serious injuries and rushed to a private hospital in the city. He was waiting by the side of the road when the accident occurred.
The car which was travelling from B C Road to Mangalore, initially collided into a barricade, further hit three vehicles- two Honda Activas and a TVS bike and later a pedestrian.
The driver of the car has fled the venue.
As per the reports, Bantwal cops have visited the spot and investigations are underway.
