MANGALORE: Congress leader B Janardhana Poojary said people of Karnataka have expressed their displeasure over a move to project Gujarat CM Narendra Modi as the prime ministerial candidate of NDA.
He told reporters that people have shown Modi that he is not fit to be a prime minister.
“Narendra Modi sowed the seeds of hatred during his visit to the city. Being a national leader, who has been projected as a contender for the prime minister’s post, Modi should have been very careful while delivering his speeches. People in the region know very well that Hindutva preaches only love and not hatred,” Poojary said congratulating voters. Poojary said that he is not a contender for the chief minister’s post.
“I had rejected the opportunity of becoming CM four times earlier,” he added.
