Kundapur, September 26: A dead cattle was found within the Gram Panchayat limits in Gujjadi on Friday September 26th morning.
A decomposed remains of cattle was found in Madagada which is on the way to Gujjadi-mullikatte , has led many to suspicions. It is suspected that, during the illegal transport of cattle, the cattle might have dead and then the transporters might have disbanded at Madaga. The impression of wheels of light vehicle is found in the areas where the cattle was discovered, and hence this act is suspected to have been done by the illegal cattle traffickers. It may be noticed here that, about a week ago during the illegal transport of cattle in an Omni car when, among the two cattle’s one had expired.
Veterinary Doctor has said that the cattle had expired about 2 days ago; a post-mortem examination is also conducted. It sounds unclear that weather the dead cattle was abandoned at Madaga or it has fallen and died in Madaga.
Gangolli police had visited the spot and investigated.

This history of a dead cattle in a swamp will be usefull, if properly studied., many more deaths like this can be contained.
