Kundapur, September 23: Under the collaboration of kotathattu Gram Panchayat Kota, Kannada and Culture Department, Government of Karnataka, Dr Shivaram Karanth trust-Udupi ,in the eve of the decennial of Dr Shivaram Karanth’s birth anniversary and Huttur Award programme ; from , October 1st to 31st a month-long continuous cultural and entertainment programs will take place in Kalabhavan under the sponsorship of various organizations ,revealed the organiser at a press conference in Kota on September 21st.
He gave a detailed note of the program list stating that,“Chilume”- a Children’s Conference on Literature will take place at 10am on Thursday, October 1st and on 2nd October at 10am, Children’s short play “Chittara”, On October 3rd zonal level Blogs conference “Kinnari”, October 4th at 10am Yakshagana conference “Voddolaga” and on October 5th, at 2.30 pm Medical writers conference “Aaptha”, October 6th at 2pm a training program on improving the abilities “Chetana”, October 7th-Panchayat festival “Surajya” , at 10am on October 8th –under the organisation of the working journalists association of Bramhavara zone, news training programme “Nudi” and on October 9 at 10am,the music program will take place. On August 10th, at 3pm; the Dr Shivarama Karanth Huttur award presentation ceremony will be held, and the poet, as well as a writer Mr Kaykini will be felicitated with Karantha Huttur award. On August 11th state-level film festival will take place, from August12to 20th –at 4pm in the evening meeting program and the film show will be organised by various organisations. On august 21st, intellectual training workshop, pyramid meditation camp, the natural food system, Karanth works-memorization camps will take place. On August 22, 23, and 24, various programmes related to Karanth will take place and on August 25th at 10am- childrens village meet,and on August26th at 10am free healing, nature treatment camp; on august 27th and 28th -various programmes related to Karanth will take place and on August29th at 10am,variety programmes between invited Anganwadi’s –the Chinnara Chethana, On August30th at 10am between the invited play-schools Cinnara Jaguli, on august 31st at 5pm- parade on memories followed by a play will be showcased.
At the press conference, head of the Foundation Narendra Kumar Kota, Raja Chitrapadi, Satish Kumar Vaddarse, Kota Gram panchayat PDO Jayaram Shetty were present.
