Mangalore/Bangalore, May 6: With the announcement of second PUC results, coastal region has every reason to be happy because of clean sweep made in PU results by the students of coastal belt.
Kumar Nayak,secretary of primary and secondary education board has announced the results on May 6,Monday at 4.30 pm.The total pass percentage across different faculties stood at not-so impressive of 59.36 per cent.
It was reported that Udipi secured highest pass percentage with 92.72% followed by Dakshina Kannada with 91.76%, placed in second and Uttara Kannada secured third place with 82.97%.
It has been reported that 3.63 lakh students have passed out of 6.11 lakh students and yagir stood at the bottom of the table with 46.02 per cent.
Among the different streams B.Com students topped the list followed by science and arts and as usual trend, girls outshined boys.
