Talents ought to spring up to the National-level: Minister Jain

Moodabidri, September 16: The Department of public education Dakshina Kannada district, office of the Department of Education Moodabidri under their organisation, public education department in collaboration with Alva’s Education Foundation, has given a drive for two days Prathiba Karanji Programme; which is took place at the VS Acharya auditorium. This elementary and high school level talent competition began on Monday.

Minister of Youth service and fisheries, Abhayachandra Jain took up the presidency of the function, addressed the gathering and said, the talents competition is helpful in unveiling the children’s hidden talents. In addition to education and sports, children must take part in cultural activities there by their hidden talents have to be unveiled and recognized at the state and national- level.

The talent competition was inaugurated by the former minister K Amaranath Shetty. He addressed the gathering and said; Pratibha karanji programs are an inspiration for the children to exhibit their talents. In the past, many children have failed to get proper opportunities.

L.J. Fernandes of Alva’s institution was the chief guest of the program.

Education officer Govind Madivala welcomed the audience and delivered an occasional speech.

In this occasion, Mayor of Moodbidri Corporation, Supriya D Shedty, taluk panchayat member Prakash P, President of Primary Teachers ‘Association T.N. Kembare, president of physical Teachers Association Nagesh, president of high school Head Masters Association, Pashupati Shastri, president of the aided Teachers’ Association Jayaram Rao and the nodal officer of Parthiba Karinji  Shivananda Kaykini were present.

Teacher Muniraja Renjaala convened the program. Undaaru Gunapala Hegde thanked.
