Mangalore, September 15: Bantwal tashildhar Mr Malle Swamy said that, it is not only duty of the government to upgrade the roads and the bridges; but also important to protect child rights and provide the basic requirements.

He inaugurated a training program organised by the department of Women’s and child development for the officials of banning Child Marriage at S.G.S.Y hall of the taluk panchayat on Monday, September 15th. According to the law, good service can only be given only when the public work hand-in–hand with the government.

The chairmanship of the program was held by the president of the taluk panchayat standing committee Ida Suresh. . The director of Padi institute Renni D’Souza was invited as the chief guest.

On the dais, vice president of the taluk panchayat Vilasini, Sub-Inspector Nanda Kumar, Dayavathi, Manju Vitla were present. C.D.P.O Mallika welcomed the gathering, supervisor Pushpalatha proposed the vote of thanks. Supervisor Gayathri was the convener of the program.
