Sri Lankan has consumed less than 500 calories and is a ‘breatharian’
He has eaten only 7 small meals in 10 months
A Sri Lankan man claims that he has survived on almost nothing but air for the past five years, ‘Opposing Views ’ website has reported.
Kirby de Lanerolle says he has only breathed air and hardly eaten anything during the past five years, absorbing light and feeling wind and the “vibrations of God.”
Lanerolle said being a ‘breatharian’, he is in good health and feels younger.
But he had admitted to eating seven meals of less than 500 calories over the past ten months.
“The average human being eats three meals a day, 90 a month. Over ten months that’s 900 meals. I have had seven meals in ten months and I cannot eat big portions,” he said.
When he eats real food, Lanerolles said, that he feels ill and tired.“In this consciousness, when you eat food, it makes me feel very tired. I lose alertness when I eat,” he said.
His aim is to teach others about the benefits of being a ‘breatharian’. “I have been called to teach others about this life,” he said.
