Bombing kills at least 20 militants in Pakistan.

Islamabad, April 24: At least 20 militants including three suicide bombers were killed after security forces launched airstrike in Pakistan’s Khyber Agency, media reported on Friday.

A number of terrorist hideouts, arms and food depots were also destroyed by the forces, The Express Tribune reported.

Identity of the militants are yet to be ascertained. Security forces are engaged in military action against militants in both North Waziristan and Khyber agencies. Around two dozen militants were also killed during the military actions in the border areas of both North and South Waziristan on April 23rd.

During the attack, seven security personnel also sustained injuries and admitted to the Combined Military Hospital in Bannu.

In the wake of what the authorities claimed as a successful military operation in Khyber One, repatriation of the internally displaced people from Peshawar and its adjoining areas is in progress.
