Berlin, April 11: According to media reports, PM Narendra Modi is likely to meet the kin of freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose when he reaches Germany. This news comes a day after it was established that former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru spied on Bose’s family for 20 years between 1948 and 1968.

According to Mail Today, Modi is likely to meet the grand-nephew of Bose-Surya Bose-who is also a prominent businessman in Germany. The meeting will take place when Modi will meet the Indian diaspora in Berlin.

It is to be noted that Surya is the President of Indo-German Association in Hamburg, which was founded by his great uncle Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

Although Nehru died in 1964, the spying continued for four more years. Both the family of the freedom fighter and the opposition have expressed their shock at the revelation. It has also been revealed that the Intelligence Bureau was mainly concerned about the foreign and the domestic trips of the family and whom they met.

Meanwhile, it is also said that Netaji’s daughter will meet Modi when he comes to Germany as a part of his 3-day tour to European countries. The main agenda of his tour is to attract clients, willing to participate in the ‘Make in India’ campaign.
