Bhopal, June 13: In a fire incident in Gwalior, four persons were burnt to death and four people sustained burn injuries fire. The incident took place at around 1.30 am on Saturday, June 13th.
This incident took place in a three storied building in Morar, a congested locality in old Gwalior.
Fire broke out from the ground floor of the building where a ready-made garment shop was situated. MK Yadav, a retired government servant, his wife Phoolan Devi, son- Arun Yadav (40) and his daughter Harshita (18) who were sleeping on the third floor died.
Arun’s wife Deepika and his brother Roamy Yadav (25) sustained serious burn injuries and were rescued by fire brigade. They were rushed to a private hospital.
Two fire fighters also sustained burns while they were involved in carrying out operations to douse the flames that went on till early morning on Saturday.
