Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh gives 5,000 laptops to engineering students.

Raipur, April 25: Chhattisgarh chief minister Raman Singh distributed free laptops to nearly 5,000 engineering students of Raipur district on Thursday.

Singh in his address said that laptop is no more a fashion among youngsters, it is rather a basic tool for accessing vast store of knowledge.

Chhattisgarh Yuva Soochna Kranti Yojana has been initiated for empowering youth so that they can fully utilize their knowledge and talent to make constructive contribution to the world.

The programme was presided over by agriculture and water resource minister Brijmohan Agrawal.

Welcome speech was given by Raipur-Durg divisional commissioner and vice-chancellor of Chhattisgarh State Vivekananda Technical University, Ashok Agrawal.

Raipur collector Thakurram Singh, SP OP Pal and municipal commissioner Saransh Mittal were also present on the occasion.
